A Little About Hyper-Local:
SBN’s 2nd Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest, to be held again at Arts at the Armory highlights and promotes local brewers, vintners, artisan beverage makers, distillers, home brewers, and food vendors and is a major annual fundraiser for Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts Boston Local Food Program. The goal of SBN’s Boston Local Food Program is to transform the local food system by raising awareness about the abundance of wonderful locally grown and produced products in Massachusetts and New England and by encouraging individual consumers, food and beverage producers, and vendors to Think Local First.
For those of you incorporating local ingredients into your seasonal brews, Hyper Local Brewfest is held in a great space with an awesome audience committed to supporting local entrepreneurs and local food. At our event, patrons come to not only to taste the local abundance of brews and products made in MA and New England, but also come to network and get a chance to meet the people behind the brews and other great local products they are tasting. It is an ideal opportunity for you to debut your early summer offerings. Most vendors donate their products for the tastings, but we are offering a subsidy if you need it. Food vendors are expected to charge $5.00 or less per serving.
New This Year- Hyper-Local Home-Brew Showcase!
New this year, for the Friday evening session, SBN will launch our first Hyper-Local Home-Brew Showcase, highlighting locally made home brews made with local ingredients. It is a chance for aspiring brewers to experiment and try what is available in the New England region for making their products. Attendees and a Brew panel with vote for their favorites in a number of categories. Commercial vendors are welcome to offer tastings at the Friday night session as well, but this is not required. More details about the Hyper-Local Home-Brew Showcase is forthcoming.

Proceeds will not only benefit SBN, a 501-c3 organization whose mission is to help develop economies that are local, green, and fair, but $1.00 from all ticket sales will benefit the Arts at the Armory as well!
